QMotion Advanced Shading Systems Announces New Hires October 9th, 2013
PENSACOLA, Fla. Oct. 9, 2013 - QMotion Advanced Shading Systems, a leader in the automated window coverings industry, announced several staffing changes this week.
Shane Siloway has been appointed production manager of the firm's Pensacola, Fla. plant - moving from his previous job as regional sales manager for QMotion Advanced Shading Systems in Atlanta. Siloway has two decades experience in the window coverings industry and has been with QMotion since 2011.
Ben Kutell, director of marketing for the company, said Siloway will bring to the new post a unique level of insight into the needs of QMotion's dealers and buyers from his years of close contact with them.
John Hoyt has been appointed to fill Siloway's old position. Hoyt, a graduate of the University of West Florida, worked previously as a customer service manager for the company. "John has been with us from the beginning," Kutell said, "and brings to the job a high customer srvices ethic and extensive knowledge of our products, processes and procedures."
Taking over Hoyt's position will be Colleen Siloway. Siloway has worked in the window coverings industry for 20 years, engaging with every aspect of the business, from product development to manufacturing to sales and installation. Most recently, she worked with Parallax Digital Studios, a Georgia-based graphic display company, where she designed and launched a line of custom printed roller shades. Kutell said Siloway's extensive and varied experience would make her a valuable addition to the QMotion team.
